The basic idea is as pure as fresh snow: Unsclaft randomly generated tracks by slaloming between the doors, alone or with friends. No fuss, no convoluted history, just the raw pleasure of old-school skiing. The game thus offers several disciplines directly inspired by alpine skiing:

  • Slalom for lovers of tight turns
  • The giant for a more flowed rhythm
  • The super-G for speed addicts
  • The descent for the burned heads

Each discipline has its own levels of track generation, which directly influences the gameplay and the trajectory to adopt. Beginners will therefore start with the giant history of getting hands, before going to more technical disciplines.

And unlike certain modern games that drown you under complex mechanics, Retroski focuses on the essentials, namely precise control and well thought out. A simple press on your keyboard is enough to start hitting the slope, then you will then have to be finesse to chain the doors in style.

The game incorporates a system of race dynamics Who rewards the beautiful trajectories and punishes technical errors and the more you train, the more you will feel the difference in your driving. It’s super gratifying!
