Well, now that I have abandoned social networks and in particular X, I have still identified something annoying that I had not anticipated: The DMs !
In fact, many of you write to me privately to send me your nudesuh, your best links. And to read your messages, I have to connect to
So to avoid that, I quickly coded myself this afternoon a little Chrome / Firefox extension that I called DMFocus which allows you to access my private Twitter messages with just one click (yes, I say Twitter, it’s like Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, I haven’t gotten used to it yet) without distraction, and without seeing anything else that is in the X interface.
In short, it’s a bit as if with one click, I connected to Gmail except that instead of emails, I have my DMs.
There you go, it’s not high engineering and I think I would be the only one to use it, but too bad, I’ll share it with you anyway, you never know.
To download it, it’s here for Firefox and for Chrome, it is still awaiting validation on their store, but I will edit the article as soon as it is good.
