We all dreamed, at one time or another, to participate in large, overpowered battons in the Dragon Ball Z, in the air to send large energy balls and buildings in the face, right? Not you? Good bah me if. 😁 And my dream is granted thanks to the excellent Fly Punch Boom!
Created by Jollypunch (but if remember, it’s the studio Behind Robodunk!),, Fly Punch Boom! is a 2D combat game, seen from the side, inspired by the most epic duels of our favorite animés.
Concretely, it is versus fighting From 1 to 4 players (online & offline!), With characters who fly in rather large destructible arenas (but not too much), in which all the blows are allowed: indeed, we will have to kill our opponents, just that. 😅
The gameplay is quite difficult to explain, but basically, we will have to find the right approach to the attack, the response, the throw & mldr; Yes, a kind of Pierre-Papier-Ciseauand then you will have to try to make as many sequences / combos based on QTE & MLDR; Good & mldr; I warned that it was difficult to explain! 😶
To this are added a few mechanics (energy to recover, teleportation/dash, etc.), it emerges from the fairly tight and intense clashes since it goes rather quickly, that you can easily return the situation, and therefore that you have to stay on a warning permanently. Apart from some quick QTE, the game is easy to handle.
Really cool and fun, especially in multiplayer where it makes sense! Because beyond the game, the characters and their animations are funny and stupid, the epic music, the (many) cruel and/or ridiculous dead & mldr; In short, it’s really designed to laugh with friends!
On the Steam version, thanks to the workshop, it is possible to create and share our own fighters! We can already find Son Goku, Naruto, Sonic, Mario, Bob the sponge & mldr; In short, it’s great anything, and it’s cool. 🙂
It remains an unpretentious little game, but whose realization, if it remains basic with its cartoon drawings, is extremely neat: it is fluid, super playable, readable, really very clean. If you are looking for something to put yourself on the face in all friendship, it’s a good option!
